Caleb Washburn

WHAT DRONES SEE

I am the physical representation of the greatest sense of inadequacy; somebody needed me into existence:
                                           a country betting on sequels
coming through. My great vision: panoramic.                        You have to zoom in
to comprehend the data I give, to flatten an eye down to a sheet
so it’s more easily mapped and coordinated. Let me display
why accuracy and precision are different.     I am deadly
accurate. Give me a window.              Just tell me which window.

Caleb Washburn is a poet and photographer from Kansas City, and is currently in the MFA program at the University of Pittsburgh. His work has appeared in or is forthcoming from Tirage Monthly, Utter, and Six Three Whiskey.
